Hi, So, here is the deal for Black Friday!
Everything is going to be 20% Off! This includes sale items too...and we just marked down a bunch more stuff in the store!
For all of our friends who can't make it to our sale, we are going to give you a code on Friday morning at 5AM PST. Enter it when you checkout, and it will give you 20% off your order. We will post it on the blog, and send an email blast out!
This is our first storewide sale. Please understand that JapanLA gets a lot of our items from Japan distributors, and we order 5-6 months in advance from them. This means, once we are sold out, we cannot order more...unless there is the small chance that our distributor is holding on to more stock in their warehouse. But for the most part, they order enough to fill our order and that's it! That being said, if you want something for Christmas, this is the best day to shop with us! Don't wait and miss out on something you really wanted.

Today was 100% kawaii craziness over at Royal/T for Hello Kitty's Birthday during Three Apples! As an ode to Kitty's 35th anniversary, here are some super awesome Hello Kitty merch that we just got in the store!
The Hello Kitty x Loungefly boombox speaker tote bag is now available! The bag has real speakers! To use the speakers, you just plug in any mp3 player into the jack located in the side zipper pocket. Turn up the volume on the player itself and music will play out of the speakers. Isn't that awesome!? I am in love with all of the details: appliques, embroidery, denim material, purple stitching, metallic purple print, side zipper… So kawaii, right!? And it's only $54.00! Definitely a must-have! n_~
Hello Kitty's 35th Anniversary is next month, and not only are they planning a big celebration (www.sanrio.com/threeapples), but they are releasing some special 35th Anniversary items, like this cute necklace!
Sorry for lagging on posting new blogs. Things have been hectic around here. JapanLA is curating the Hello Kitty Art Show, as part of the "Three Apples 35th Anniversary of Hello Kitty Exhibition." The event will take place at Royal/T Cafe/Shop/Art Space. 80 Popular Artists will be creating art pieces of Hello Kitty. The art will be for sale and part of the proceeds will go to the charity, LA Works. There is more info on www.sanrio.com/threeapples and they are updating that website with all the artists and events going on. The Exhibition is October 23 - Nov 15. Hope you can stop by. I'll post more info next week, including the names of all the artists participating in the show!
