The "Three Apples" Exhibition: Celebrating 35 Years of Hello Kitty starts this FRIDAY, Oct 23rd! This is a HUGE event for all of the Hello Kitty fans out there! The event is at Royal/T Art Space/Cafe/Shop at 8910 Washington Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232.
JapanLA is curating the Art Show, with 80 artists doing their take on Hello Kitty. The original art pieces will be for sale and part of the proceeds will go to the charity, L.A. Works. We will also be releasing prints of some of the art at each of the events, like this Gary Baseman painting.
Hello Kitty's 35th Anniversary is next month, and not only are they planning a big celebration (www.sanrio.com/threeapples), but they are releasing some special 35th Anniversary items, like this cute necklace!
Sorry for lagging on posting new blogs. Things have been hectic around here. JapanLA is curating the Hello Kitty Art Show, as part of the "Three Apples 35th Anniversary of Hello Kitty Exhibition." The event will take place at Royal/T Cafe/Shop/Art Space. 80 Popular Artists will be creating art pieces of Hello Kitty. The art will be for sale and part of the proceeds will go to the charity, LA Works.
