Oops! We had a typo on our last email blast. Our Surprise Lucky Bags will be released this Saturday, January 5th, in-store at JapanLA Melrose & Little Tokyo, and online.
"Lucky Bags" or "Surprise Bags" are a Japanese New Year custom where stores make grab bags filled with mystery items at discounted prices!
JapanLA will have a limited amount of $25 Surprise Bags ($50 - $75 Value) and $50 Surprise Bags ($100 - $150 or more Value) available for purchase! Bags are first come first serve. We will have a set amount to be sold online, and a set amount to sell in store at both our Little Tokyo and Melrose locations starting Jan. 5th at 11am PST! (Available while supplies last, only one of each bag size per customer.)
What's inside? The majority of items in the surprise bags are Sanrio items, but there are also items from other brands we carry including Rilakkuma, Pusheen, and tokidoki.
Stop by and get the NEW tokidoki 2019 Year of the Pig Figure that has just launched today online and will be available at both of our locations in-store too! Only a very limited amount available, $15 each.
Our Little Tokyo Location has new hours! We will be open a little later, until 10pm on Friday and Saturday so you have more time to shop in the evening!
