The "Three Apples" Exhibition: Celebrating 35 Years of Hello Kitty starts this FRIDAY, Oct 23rd! This is a HUGE event for all of the Hello Kitty fans out there! The event is at Royal/T Art Space/Cafe/Shop at 8910 Washington Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232.
JapanLA is curating the Art Show, with 80 artists doing their take on Hello Kitty. The original art pieces will be for sale and part of the proceeds will go to the charity, L.A. Works. We will also be releasing prints of some of the art at each of the events, like this Gary Baseman painting.

This is a piece done by Jason Mecier. He made a big Hello Kitty face out of Hello Kitty product...so cute!
This is a 7 foot sculpture, by Colin Christian. It is made out of fiberglass and silicon...and the whiskers and the lights at the base light up and change color...so awesome!
There will be many surprises at the exhibition...like this super secret interactive theme park experience, by FriendsWithYou!
There is also going to be a Hello Kitty Cafe inside Royal/T with Hello Kitty Food! Here is the menu!
The exhibition opens on Friday, Oct 23rd, we will have original art and prints available beginning this day. The Hello Kitty Fan Party is on Saturday 10am - 10pm, Oct 24th. Kitty Mama’ Yuko Yamaguchi (Hello Kitty head designer straight from Tokyo) & tokidoki creator, Simone Legno will be doing a special signing on this day from 1pm - 2pm, and 3pm-4pm. There is also a special launch of the new exclusive tokidoki for Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary collection. It is SO CUTE! You will love it. So, get here early, and wear all your Hello Kitty gear!
