Come visit us at Designercon tomorrow, Saturday, Nov 21st at the Pasadena Convention Center! JapanLA will have a table there and we will be selling things from the Hello Kitty Exhibition and other stuff too! We will have the exhibition book, prints, and more! Plasticgod will also have his (Hello) "Kitty Icons" Series 3, with 30 new characters to choose from!

There will also be artists there for you to meet like Buff Monster, Plasticgod, Peekaboo, Angry Woebots, Mr. Toast, Amanda Visell, Michelle Valigura, Craola, Deph, and more!
It is going on 10am - 5pm. It is a fun show. You can get some Christmas shopping done early too!

Thanks so much to everyone that came out to the Three Apples event at Royal/T in Culver City! I think most of us would call it a HUGE success, and I think Hello Kitty's probably beside herself. She just had the coolest, funnest 35th birthday ever!
Even though the exhibit isn't up anymore, you can still come to JapanLA and score these two limited edition items from the event. Available at our store (and online once I get a chance to add them both!) is the Three Apples Exhibition Book with pictures of the art, info about the exhibit and even an introduction written by our now famous shop owner, Jamie! Make sure you ask her to sign it. She's a celebrity now! This book won't be printed forever so now's the chance to get yours.
We are also selling super great reversible tote bags!! You can either have it show the Exhibit's logo or the super cute pattern on the other side. This is the official totebag of Hello Kitty's 35th Anniversary Celebration. Limited Edition. We've got some, but not a ton, so grab yours now!
On a side note, I'm sure a lot of you reading this are wondering about the artwork and prints available now that the show is over. For the moment we are not taking new art purchases but we will be making an announcement about what might be left and how you can get something as soon as we can. We are just very busy, up to our eyeballs in paperwork and art pieces. The Hello Kitty Fashion Show is tomorrow. It sold out in about 2 seconds, this morning. I wish we had more tickets, but we do not. We will have a video of the event, and lots of pictures. For those of you who managed to get tickets, congratulations!
The Goth Party is tonight! Come to that! It is going to be fun!

Please come to the Hello Kitty Bats and Cats Masquerade Party! This Friday, the 13th, at Royal/T! Our friends, Bubble Punch are hosting it, so it is sure to be super fun with lots of great outfits. This is a "goth" theme party, so dress up, it's fun! (but you don't have to.) Just show up, it's free...not sure how many people to expect, so I would come early, 8pm - 12am, the parties have been full of fun people!

Tomorrow is the Hello Kitty "Meet the Artists" Day at Royal/T. JapanLA and Sanrio in association with Juxtapoz Magazine will be hosting the day and night! (see flyer on previous blog post or go to www.sanio.com/threeapples)
Beginning on Saturday, Nov. 7th, at 10am, we will be releasing Mr. Toast x Hello Kitty small paintings, $30 each, framed. We will have about 15 to sell at 10am, and another 30 at 7pm when Dan Goodsell (creator of Mr. Toast), comes by and drops more off! We love them so much!
Chase also made us 10" x 10" canvases of his "Uplifting Collages." They come in 4 of each color: blue, pink, green, and orange. We love Chase and his positive messages mixed with Hello Kitty. These are $250 each, and limited to only 16.
Come by Royal/T, Saturday, Nov 7th, 10am - 11pm. See the schedule for the day/night in the previous blog post!

JapanLA & Sanrio in Association with Juxtapoz Magazine, are Hosting the Hello Kitty Meet the Artists Party! This Saturday, Nov. 7th, at Royal/T! Come meet many of the artists who participated in the "Three Apples: Hello Kitty Art Show!"
Sanrio is giving Free Goody Bags to first 100 visitors (doors open at 10am, so get here early). PLEASE NOTE, THE LINES FOR GOODY BAGS HAVE BEEN VERY LONG AND CRAZY.
