Join us next week for a Galaxxxy brand pop-up shop! JapanLA will be hosting Tokyo based label, Galaxxxy for a pop-up shop celebrating the opening of their U.S. webshop.
Galaxxxy is a Tokyo based label that mixes bright colors and prints. They have collaborated with major anime series including Neon Genesis Evangelion, Panty and Stocking, and Gurren Lagen! Most recently they worked with Harajuku fashion icon and recording artist Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

Do you have Re-Ment sets or Sonny Angels you have "doubles" of or don't want? Trying to complete your collection? Come trade them with other guests at the Trading Party! We will also have some sets here to trade with. Please make sure your items are in good condition and contain all pieces.

Email us a picture of a creative Re-Ment and/or Sonny Angel photo that you took. Must be your original photo that you own, not a random picture you found on the Internet. We will post it on our Facebook page. Whichever photo gets the most likes, wins a special, limited "My Birthday Cake" Re-Ment Set.
The "My Birthday Cake" Set is unopened. It is a highly coveted piece that came out in Japan in 2006. This is what the set looks like open.
Rules: Facebook photo contest open to international entries. Multiple entries will not be considered valid entries. Please send ONE photo. Photo must contain Re-Ment and/or Sonny Angels figures. Additional props may be used but Re-Ment/Sonny Angel should be the main focus of the photo. Entries must be received by August 12th 11:59pm PST. Voting period August 13th - 21st.

"Kawaii Pop" Art Show opens tomorrow, Saturday, July 7th, at JapanLA.The art show is curated by JSalvador, featuring cute art inspired by video games, comics, and anime.
Featuring original art and prints by JSalvador, nomarios, and Omocat.
JSalvador is the creator of the Super Emo Friends art you may have seen at JapanLA. J is adding some new characters inspired by Sailor Moon and Street Fighter.
